ELECTRATHERM: CLEAN SWEEP AT WORLD ENERGY EVENT

Carson City, Nevada. ElectraTherm, Inc., manufacturer of Green Energy Machines which convert geothermal and industrial waste heat or pressure into emission free electricity, stole the show at this year's "Geothermal Resources Council Annual Meeting" held in Reno, Nevada in conjunction with the Geothermal Energy Association International Tradeshow. The announcement this week that ElectraTherm's engineering team won the coveted "Best Scientific Paper Award", from among 109 papers presented by engineers representing 34 countries, cinched ElectraTherm's clean sweep of awards at the world renowned event.

The paper, presented by Professor Nikola Stosic was written by ElectraTherm innovator and CEO, Richard Langson, Professor Ian Smith and Professor Nikola Stosic (IMechE's 2005 prestigious James Clayton prize winners) and Dr. Ahmed Kovacevic, all well recognized as the world leaders in compressor and expander technology, addressed both scientific and cost effective aspects of ElectraTherm's "Modular Power Plant". The Power Plant, which ElectraTherm exhibited in its booth, helped the company capture the "Best in Show" award from the Geothermal Energy Association.

Bill Olson, a co-founder and Vice President of Business Development at ElectraTherm, finds the awards particularly gratifying. "Since this was ElectraTherm's debut at the geothermal industry's premier conference and trade show, I find recognition by its leaders a real validation of the company's technology." ElectraTherm has sold 50 and 500 kilowatt, emission free, commercial power plants this year, as well as gas pressure reduction generation equipment. "Along with peer acceptance, the market provides real proof of the value of our technology. Some of the nation's largest energy producers are reviewing ElectraTherm's green energy equipment for installation, which will significantly reduce pollution as they generate electricity."

The Geothermal Resources Council Conference is held annually in conjunction with the GEA's trade show, and together comprise the largest international event for the geothermal power industry. The 2007 event was held October 1-3 at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks (Reno), Nevada. Speakers included Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons, Assistant Secretary, US Department of Energy Alexander Karsner and Deputy Assistant Secretary, US Department of Interior, Michael Olsen.
